Worn out baby girl

Allie played for a little while after we got home. We went to play with her new bath toys and she went straight to sleep after!

Allie's Maw Maw Karen gave her a brand new rocking chair. Allie is still getting used to it, it's a little taller than the other one she plays on but I'm sure she will be climbing to the top of it in no time. Isn't she so cute?

This was Miss Allie's first experience with CAKE! It took a few minutes, but after we all gave up and stopped taking pictures she REALLY got into it. (Mommy had to come in and cut a few chunks) She was loving it! She also shared some of the cake with others. She is so sweet and I cannot believe she will be ONE this week!!

Today we had Allie's very first birthday party at McMurry Park right down the road from our house. We had a BIG turnout, most of our families and a few friends. Allie had a blast (after the initial getting used to so many people)!! All of her girl cousins helped with the unwrapping of presents. We had a FABULOUS TIME!! Thanks everyone for coming and for all of her new fun toys & clothes.

Allie is obsessed with putting things inside boxes and baskets. Well the other day she was playing with her clothes hamper and Adam put her in it. She was SO excited here are a few pics.

Allie lately

This is Allie, I didn't get the picture while she was all the way in the clothes basket, but she made it all the way in and was standing proud inside the basket.

Allie has discovered headbands. She will NOT let me put any on her, but give her one of mine and she'll play all day!!

I am still cutting her bananas up when I feed her. However, the other day I was going too slow, so I just handed her part of the banana and boy did she eat it quick (and thankfully without choking)

Allie has been LOVING getting under things. ALL tables and she's been working on getting into this cabinet and last night she achieved her goal. Adam and I were cracking up. Here are a few pics of her in the cabinet. She is so funny!!!

Last night Allie crawled under my end table and camped out for about 30 minutes. She had a great time! We played peek a boo and she had a couple of other games to do in her little spot!! See below:

Rockin' Allie

I was cleaning up and I heard Allie in the hallway, so I went to find her, thinking she'd gone into her room. Well instead she had found my old rocking chair in the guest room. She had a great time on her "jungle gym"!!

Hip Hip Hooray!

Well, Allie slept from 8:50-4:15 last night. That is the longest she's slept since she was four months old! Let's all pray that she keeps it up!! Hopefully she will since she IS ALMOST one!! I'll get some new pics soon!

Happy Birthday Heath!!

Well I brought my camera and everything to Heath's birthday party. Except I didn't really bring EVERYTHING obviously because I forgot my memory cards at home. Anyhow we had a great time at the BBQ. Allie fed her animal crackers to Sally (the dog) and was scared by Heath in his Halloween costume (this strange piglike creature). Nanny Gwen took pics though and I'll post if I get them.

Poor Allie

Well yesterday Allie woke up with a cold. She's been pretty pitiful. However, it has not impacted her appetite too much. Here she is eating at her Grammy's house. She is LOVING chicken these days!! She is so sweet!!

BUSY Weekend!!

Well with everything that we had going on this weekend I forgot to wish Allie's Pop and one of her favorite cousins Melissa HAPPY BIRTHDAY on Friday!! Hope you both had great days! We were only home for naps on Friday from 9-9, then Adam's sister came in for a visit for her dad's birthday. I took a few pics of Allie and Tara. We had a great time with everyone and Allie has been looking at the picture of Tara all day and going ooh, ooh. Like she wants her =(

Lunch with the Family

Well my Aunt Cheryl came to town and we all went out to eat at Pujo Street Cafe for lunch. My poor child was subjected to some strange food. First Auntie gave her a lemon, which she enjoyed. Then her Uncle James gave her an onion!! When Maw Maw Karen tried to come to the rescue Allie had already swallowed it!!

Well here was the one animal that Allie could get close to. She was a litte scared though. Oh and look how cute her shoes are!! We are working on wearing them so when she walks she will (HOPEFULLY) be used to them. We'll see!! Also here she is in front of the giraffe, poor thing she kept saying ooh, ooh and reaching out to try to get it!!

Fun at the Zoo

Well last Thursday Adam & I decided to take Allie to the zoo in Lafayette. Allie's Grammy also came along. Allie had a great time, she didn't quite understand why she couldn't get to the animals though. She sure did try though.
