Water Fun

I was getting dinner ready Sunday night while Adam and Allie were outside getting the Barbeque pit ready. I went outside and Allie and her Daddy were playing in the water hose! She had a great time as you can see.

Allie can Kick!!

Allie has been walking around the house kicking her legs lately. Yesterday when we were outside I decided that she could probably kick her new ball. She CAN!! The first time she tried her foot went over the ball and she fell flat on her back. Sadly I didn't get that on video, she sat up laughing. Here is a video of her kicking the ball around our yard!

Helpful Little Girl

Allie is becoming more and more helpful. Yesterday she wanted to help me unload the dishwasher, so I handed her the plastic containers and she put them in the drawer (its right next to the dishwasher). She also carried some of her washcloths to her bathroom when I was carrying her laundry to her room and bathroom. (This saved me from having to refold all of the pants/shorts that she tried to “carry” but I thankfully got to before she could unfold them all!)
These are a couple of pictures I took of her watering my plant on the back porch. She was playing with her two water bowls and carried one over to the plant and she poured the water in. Her daddy is teaching her so well!! She helps him water his garden and tomato plants most nights!

YAY for a new title!

Awww, my friend Amy J had some free time and made up a title for Allie's blog! Thanks so much! We are now high tech here on Allie's blog! =) If only I could be creative on my own, still working on updating it!! However, my neighbor and I talked yesterday and she's going to teach me to sew. Maybe there is hope for me!!

Allie's cold!!

Last week when it was so cold I realized that my mom had taught Allie how to "say" cold. She's been doing her own made up sign for HOT (she blows on her finger). But one morning I told Allie it was too cold to go outside and she started running around the house going BRRRR!! Here are a couple of videos!!

Egg Hunting

We went to the Easter Egg hunt at our church on Saturday. Mom, Emily and I took Allie. It took a few minutes for Allie to catch on, but Pop, Nanny and I had been practicing with her so she caught on VERY quickly!! Here are a few pictures from our day!

Happy Easter

I never sent Christmas cards, so I decided to send out Easter cards instead. Here is a copy of one that I sent out.

Allie & the duck

Allie’s rubber ducky was her best friend yesterday. She carried it around all day. When I put her in her high chair for a snack she kept pointing and saying “raisin” a-ray (as you'll hear her say in the video) and I finally figured out that she wanted to give the duck a raisin. So I gave her the duck, figuring that I could wash him if he got too dirty. At first she would put the raisin in the duck’s mouth then hold it there and put the duck’s mouth and the raisin in her mouth and eat the raisin.

However, by the time I took the video she would feed it to him then she would eat it. Here are a couple of pictures and a video of her feeding the duck.
