Goodnight Moon

Mom, Emily and I took Allie to see The Runaway Bunny & Goodnight Moon at the Lutcher Theater in Orange today. Goodnight Moon is one of Allie's all time favorites. She can "help" you read the book. We had a great time. We met Joycie for lunch at the Old Orange Cafe and then went to the show. Allie got to wear her PJs to the event and she was looking so cute in the PJs her MawMaw Karen bought her. Here are some pictures from our day...

Sewing Lesson

I usually only post about things that Allie has been doing and in a way this is about her. Yesterday Nanny Gwen and Magen gave me my very FIRST sewing lesson. My mom got me a sewing machine for Christmas. Here are a few of the burp cloths that we made. Today I made two on my own, and Allie was so excited watching me sew. She also really enjoyed playing with my fun sewing box!! Who knows maybe she'll want to learn one day!

Hanging out with Daddy

Last night I walked into the living room (where Allie was supposed to be settling down before PJ and brushing her teeth time) and she was laying on top of Adam. I thought they looked too cute-I'm prejudiced I guess. Just wanted to pass along.

New Year's Eve 2009

New Year's Eve Adam and I decided to just go out to eat and then go to his parents so Allie could do fireworks. Now anyone who knows me knows that I DO NOT like fireworks, so I was quite nervous about my 2 year old holding sparklers by herself. However, I don't want her growing up to be a scaredy cat, so off she (and her dad and her Pop went)

However, after all was said and done she still wanted her Aunt Tara to be there to do them with her. I told her maybe for the 4th of July (hee hee)!!

Christmas 2009

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while!! We've been busy and I had bunches of pictures to download. Thought you may be interested in seeing how our Christmas went!

Pumpkin Patch

We went with a few friends and Nanny Gwen to the Pumpkin Patch in Moss Bluff yesterday. Allie and I had a great time and she had a lot of fun running around looking at the all of the pumpkins! Here are a few pictures...

We had Allie's birthday party on Sunday. It was perfect weather and Allie had a great turn out. She was a little nervous with everyone paying so much attention to her. Right before we ate cake she told Adam "People" and shook her head then said "Home, Home" She warmed up a little after that though when she got to go play at the playground. She loves ALL of her presents. Thanks everyone for making her day special!!
